The Costa Mesa Playhouse is very interested in producing new plays and musicals. If you would like to submit your original play or musical for consideration in our upcoming season please read on.

We often plan our next season in the first quarter of each calender year, though we will accept submissions throughout the year. In order for us to give proper consideration to your original work, we'll need the following.

• A one page (or less) synopsis of the story.
• A full summary of all characters and settings.
• A complete copy of the script - either in .doc or .pdf format - or printed if you prefer to submit via snail-mail.
• If it is a musical: A CD or .mp3's of the music.
  (A selection of "highlights" should be acceptible.)
• Detailed contact information for the author, his/her agent, and/or publisher in case we would like further information on producing the work.
