The PlayFrom the team that brought you last year's "Titanic the Musical," this concert version of "Sweeney Todd" is presented as our annual fundraiser in support of our new season, and includes a reception and silent auction on Saturday, Aug. 24. Sondheim's multi-Tony winning, musical thriller is a chilling, suspenseful, and at times humorous telling of the infamous tale of the murderous barber of Fleet Street in London. Sweeney Todd, the unjustly exiled barber, returns to London seeking revenge. His thirst for blood soon expands to include his unfortunate customers. And he is helped along his murderous way by the opportunistic pie-shop owner downstairs, Mrs. Lovett.
